In Te Ngahere  we have been learning about endemic and native things like trees birds and lizards. We have to create something to share our learning.

I  learnt about the totara  tree. It was quite funny because I kept confusing the word tuatara and totara.  I did really well at checking the accuracy of my facts. I used more than one website to check if my facts were true.

I enjoyed writing but I really enjoyed reading the facts and gaining more knowledge.  

In Te Ngahere We have been learning about saving Te Ngahere.

Endangered native animals like kiwi. Two  people from the

Bay Bush named Stella and Brad told us about birds eggs being eaten by possums rats and stoats and that cats and dogs killing native and endemic birds.So they helped  us by putting rat traps around the school So we can be the first school to be pest free. The next day we found that none of the rat traps had any rats.

camp

Title: The best camp

Te Maunga  & Te Moana went to  camp we flipped off awere  bags we flash to the  dorms

The camp was called  coopers beach It was so much fun. The slide was my favourite we slipped and flipped the way down I went with Franny and I got to the end of the slide on the grass It was so fun then me and Franks did it all again.  Now we are going to the confidence course we swan like Tarzan we jumped like a frog we climbed  like a monkey  and it made the confidence course harder because we were    

Ghost The Next Chapter

In Te Maunga we have be  writing a story called ghost and  Were  writing  what happened at the end of the story. The end of the story there was a gunshot because ghost  was in a race. I will Share to you my story now.

Boom!! ‘The gun was like a silver superhero flying in the air and it Went to the sky To save the world . The bullet could go anywhere It Could  Fall on me!” so I ran away, like I was being chased,

My lungs are popping. A puddle of sweat  around me. I was melting Like an ice block on a hot day.

I felt like my legs had one job and that job was to run.. Brandan was in The lead so l told Lu “Let's go as fast as we can. We need to win. Brandon I going to win”

“NO I am going to win and Your dumb little friend will Lose too” Brandon Replied.  

I am a cheater Zooming around the track. Energy got inside of me I didn't win Or Brandon. Lu won the race we are so Happy for him. I Guess   he should have won.  

The Snake in the Box

          We are learning to write using our imagination.

Long ago in Egypt lived an evil Dr with shiny silver hair and red eyes.He built a tele portor brought an evil alien to earth because he wanted to rule the world. The alien looked lie a snake and the Dr locked it in a box.Two bad twins let the snake in the box free and the snake went after the twin and she jumped like a rabbit  Then the Dr made a super hot taco. He  gave it to the slimy fat snake. Gulp, the snake ate it whole.! He roared. Then the fat snake went on a rampage. The snake ate half a building and the building caught on fire because the snake could now breathe fire!

Now the snake started having little snake babies and they started destroying the city as well.

The snake was really an alien in disguise! The snake smashed into a school library with his slippery claws. He ate the librarian and her lunchbox as well. The principal said “Oh no, the poor !” Everybody wondered why the principal didn’t care about the librarian but the librarian was really just a mannequin not a real person and the principal was really one of the twins in disgui The twins had put a bomb inside the mannequin, it exploded inside the snake, and the library became a sea of slippery gloopy slime. It gave the twins goosebumps.

It looked like a pyramid of slime. Hurray, the twins had saved the day!
